VSA/NJ serves as a resource on issues of the arts and disability and is a member of the Cultural Access Network of New Jersey, which provides training and technical assistance to the cultural community. Programs are designed to meet the needs of participants with a wide range of disabilities including physical, developmental, learning, and emotional. Access services including alternate format materials, sign language interpretation, captioning, and assistive listening devices are provided at public events and programs. VSA/NJ welcomes requests for access services at events for which they are not already scheduled.
